Summer on Queens Wharf

Summer on Queens Wharf

We hope you had a chance to head along to Queens Wharf summer programme these last few months! From Sunrise Yoga and Sunrise Rave to Flower Stem Giveaways and watercolour painting sessions, there was something for everyone.

Artists and amateurs alike got their paintbrushes out to paint some botanical pictures, and their pencils out for Drawing Club on Wednesday evenings. We gave away flowers to spread a bit of joy, and learned about flax weaving from Freddy Matariki Carr.

“It has been beautiful sharing space, smiles and good energy w/ such an awesome bunch of humans.“
LeeTere, Sunrise Raver

A highlight for all was the Cloud Games, with more than 700 attendees! There was handball, badminton, face-painting, ping pong and play dough for all to play with. Wild Street Games were in attendance, creating lots of fun games for the families to enjoy and things for the littleies to play with, including pirates boat racing, ribbons, hula hoops and bubble wands.
