Connections - Create 2019
Queens Wharf’s Connections photography mentorship programme is back for its sixth year, and applications open Monday, 2 September to enthusiastic, hard-working photographers of all abilities.
Internationally renowned photographer and Sony NZ digital imaging ambassador, Tom Ang will mentor, advise and guide a group of ten photographers over six weeks to create a stunning exhibition of photography and multimedia to be displayed on Queens Wharf in December through to April 2020.
The theme this year is “Create”, a topic sure to inspire a varied and compelling range of artwork to display.
The lucky participants will attend the free six-week course every Monday evening from 6pm in Auckland’s CBD starting 7 October to 11 November.
Tom and the Panuku panel will review applications and select the successful applicants who will be contacted on Friday, 27 September 2019. The group will be publicly announced on Monday, 30 September 2019.
Applications open Monday, 2 September 2019 and close on Friday, 20 September 2019.
Tom Ang kindly donates his valuable time to Connections – Create with support from Panuku Development Auckland.
